One person has died following multiple crashes on the Otedola Bridge, Lagos, in the early hours of Friday, leading to a long-stretched gridlock that has left commuters and motorists grounded. 

The accident, which happened inward Secretariat along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, left thousands of people stranded on the ever-busy highway.
